Packaging Technician

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate high-speed packaging equipment including fillers, labelers, palletizers, depalletizers, banders, bottle sorters, and box formers.
• Perform hose hookups and line flushing.
• Operate forklifts to move materials to packaging lines and full case goods to trailers.
• Maintain machinery by making necessary adjustments to keep packaging lines running smoothly.
• Conduct inventory counts and manage receiving and storing materials.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized, and perform quality checks throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with blenders, other technicians, Team Leaders, Managers, and Supervisors for order fulfillment.
• Create, verify, and reconcile inventory counts according to Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with packaging knowledge.
• Must have forklift driving experience.
• Working knowledge of SAP.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and critical thinking skills.
• Proactive in identifying process improvements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work in the U.S.
