About the role

This role requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work in various departments, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Setup machines, conduct basic troubleshooting, load films, set up settings, monitor operations to ensure efficiency.
• Monitor and assist with equipment upstream and downstream to maintain continuous operation.
• Maintain packaging schedules, adhere to quality control and sanitation procedures, including weighing, packing, describing products, managing best buy dates, and performing cleanups and changeovers.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment by properly cleaning machines and work areas during and after production runs or changeovers.
• Comply with plant safety, GMP, and allergen procedures, and participate in relevant training sessions.
• Assist in other departments as needed.
• Manufacture, distribute, and consistently maintain safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP, and SQF guidelines.

Requirements

• Report all food safety and quality issues immediately to your supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members and share knowledge, skills, and information across functional areas.
• Enhance technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and follow supervisor's directives.
• Support the shift team as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining production line equipment and ensuring its efficient operation.
• Food industry experience is required.
