Packaging Operator

What You’ll Do

• Support machine troubleshooting and collaborate with operators.
• Participate in trial work for new equipment, parts, and product SKUs.
• Create and maintain machine recipe settings for production.
• Partner with Maintenance, PCT, and E&I teams for escalated issues.
• Be available across shifts for machine-related needs.
• Participate in trial and validation activities for Cell 6/6.2.
• Coordinate with supporting departments for new item setup, validation, and trial requirements.
• Track and maintain trial documentation.
• Assist with onboarding new equipment, including FAT and first-run testing (occasional travel).
• Support PM activities and documentation.
• Backup scheduling and tracking of PM dates and requirements.
• Record and report PM findings and follow-up actions.
• Act as a technical resource for new and existing associates.
• Help maintain training materials for machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Adjust training schedules as needed across all shifts.
• Assist with technical onboarding of new talent.

What You Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of machine operator experience (or equivalent).
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office for tracking and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a diverse team.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and follow established procedures.
• Experience with JDE, DocuShare, or machine recipe entry is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
• Occasional lifting (10–50 lbs), squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, reaching, driving, and forklift operation.
• Must be able to perform job functions within a manufacturing plant environment.
