Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment, including but not limited to: carton erectors, partition inserters, product inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU), foil dispensers, top closers, and palletization equipment.
• Manual responsibilities: loading, building and making boxes, hand packaging of bottles, loading labels.
• Maintenance: perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operations.
• Material handling: loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers, or other raw materials.
• Documentation: accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks.
• Perform changeovers of diverse packaging equipment (e.g., case erector, partition inserter, top sealer).
• Apply correct labels and perform quality checks consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels, and packaging integrity for defects.
• Housekeeping and autonomous maintenance.

Performance Metrics:

• Labeling Accuracy: maintain a labeling accuracy rate of 100% by consistently following all labeling procedures without deviation.
• Quality Control Compliance: perform all required quality checks with 100% completion and accuracy, identifying and reporting any defects per standard operating procedures.
• Line clearance accuracy and autonomous maintenance completion.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Capable of lifting 55 pounds and standing for a minimum of 12 hours.
• Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously.
• High cleanliness standards for machines and work area.
