About the role
The Packaging Logistics Specialist position is available for an immediate start in Chicago, Illinois. This role is part of a global team of approximately 2,400 employees at 74 locations, dedicated to developing and producing protective packaging and technical molded parts.
Responsibilities
- Present Storopack products and services to meet customer's automated packaging needs.
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities for Storopack’s automated packaging solutions.
- Perform independent market research and participate in marketing campaigns to promote Storopack solutions.
- Accompany Storopack sales colleagues on customer visits to understand their needs.
- Search for potential new clients and analyze customer requirements.
- Create a bridge between technical and commercial teams including sales, engineering, and the customer.
- Present a solution and its probability of success to the customer.
- Negotiate offers including technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.
- Manage relationships with distributors and end-users.
- Coordinate project implementation and serve as a Project Coordinator.
- Conduct distributor sales meetings and end-user presentations and product demonstrations.
- Timely report sales activity, monthly expense reports, and update CRM reporting pipeline activity.
Requirements
- Four-year college degree.
- Very good knowledge of material flow, packaging, and shipping.
- Experience with MS Office applications and CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
- Self-motivated and team-oriented.
- Professional acumen.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Excellent English verbal and written skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Able to lift 40-50 lbs when required.
- Able to stand/walk for long periods of time when required.
- Located in the Cincinnati or Chicago area.

Skills
