Packaging-Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage Customer Returnable, Supplier Returnable, and Backup Expendable Packaging
• Work with Customer for Engineering of Packaging Design and Approval, Phaseout, and Buyoff
• Physical Inventory of Warehouse with Internal and Outside Auditors
• Handle Arrangement of Domestic and International Outbound and Inbound Freight
• Create and Maintain Department Budget Accounts including Packaging, Freight In, Freight Out
• Travel as needed regarding new returnable packaging approval at customer(s) location
• Obtain MACI QA/Production approval for newly designed packaging as needed
• Collaborate with parent company associates abroad, as needed
• Work with related departments on return shipments both international and domestic

Requirements

• 4-year degree preferably in Supply Chain Management or related concentration
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including experience in creating and working with spreadsheets
• Analytical, good written and verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
