Packaging Lead

The Packaging Lead will be responsible for the day-to-day operations at the manufacturing level. This role requires competence in a fast-paced environment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively interact with other members of the Team to ensure a positive culture and the best possible patient experience for our clientele. You will be reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager. Jushi Holdings Inc. Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day packaging schedules in collaboration with the Packaging Supervisor and Packaging Manager
• Monitor production schedules and generate product labels using Nicelabel and ZDesign software
• Conduct primary label inspections to ensure compliance with DCC regulations and internal quality standards
• Maintain clear communication with leadership to obtain secondary label approvals prior to print execution
• Ensure all label printing jobs are completed accurately and on time to support scheduled packaging operations
• Set the pace of the packaging department to meet or exceed production targets
• Troubleshoot packaging and labeling equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations
• Assemble and perform primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging for all cannabis products
• Operate, maintain, and clean all packaging and labeling equipment according to safety and quality standards
• Perform data entry and record keeping for traceability, inventory control, and compliance documentation
• Ensure traceability logs and Chain of Custody records are completed accurately and in compliance with regulations
• Follow strict sanitation and safety practices, including PPE use and participation in safety meetings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Work independently and collaboratively to support overall production and company goals
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve process quality, efficiency, and workflow
