Packaging Labor- First Shift

Responsibilities

• Pack finished high quality frozen egg products in cases according to customer specifications.
• Fills and folds omelets and prepares them for freezing.
• Maintains and removes defective egg products that do not meet customer specifications.
• Ensures the conveyor system does not back up and becomes jammed with product.
• Determines if product meets proper specifications or not and takes corrective action as needed.
• Assists in the general good housekeeping of the area.
• Adheres to safety work rules and reinforces safety as a Core Value.
• Ensures compliance with Food Safety & Quality policies and procedures.
• Reports to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least one year of stable work history preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions and mathematical operations.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and withstand constant motion.
• The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. safely.
• The ability to work indoors, on hard surfaces, in changing temperatures.
• Basic verbal skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
• The ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Safety regulations and wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) as required.
