Pacific AIDS Education and Training Centers– Program Coordinator
About the Role
The position coordinates and supports program operations for PAETC Southern California training initiatives, including participant recruitment and registration, marketing and outreach, training logistics, development and dissemination of training materials, and administrative, technical, and financial support for training activities. The role oversees continuing education certification processes, supports data collection and reporting requirements, and ensures compliance with program and funding requirements. Additionally, the incumbent coordinates activities for the PAETC Southern Region Interprofessional Education (IPE) Program and serves as a liaison with participating partners and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support program operations for PAETC Southern California training initiatives.
- Manage participant recruitment, registration, marketing, and outreach.
- Handle training logistics and development/dissemination of training materials.
- Provide administrative, technical, and financial support for training activities.
- Oversee continuing education certification processes.
- Support data collection and reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with program and funding requirements.
- Coordinate activities for the PAETC Southern Region Interprofessional Education (IPE) Program.
- Serve as a liaison with participating partners and stakeholders.

- Experience writing reports, summarizing project performance, preparing and presenting Excel spreadsheets, graphs, PowerPoint presentations, etc. (Required)
- Demonstrated capacity to build relationships and effective collaborations with diverse community organizations and healthcare providers. (Required)
- Knowledge and understanding of systems and public and private sector organizations serving patients with medical and supportive services needs who are underserved and disadvantaged. (Required)
- Record of consistent and dependable performance of full-time work. Willing to work outside regular hours when occasionally required for project activities. (Required)
- Experience working in or with underserved populations and a thorough appreciation for related challenges. (Required)
- Experience working in a clinical setting or familiarity with clinical operations. Prior work experience in medical, oral, or public health arenas. (Preferred)
- Aptitude for information, technology, and computer-oriented tasks. (Preferred)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. (Preferred)

- Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background investigation.

- Candidate(s) must be 18 years or older to be eligible to be hired.
- Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory TB test.
- The position is subject to providing evidence of COVID and Flu vaccinations.
- The position is designated as a mandatory reporter under CANRA. The employee must sign the "Statement Acknowledging Requirement to Report Child Abuse".
Pay
UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common.
