By overseeing PaaS product lifecycle management and delivery coordination, the organization facilitates streamlined platform service implementations that support veterans' services. About the Opportunity:The PAAS DELIVERY LEAD – PROJECT MANAGER is responsible for leading the PaaS Delivery workstream, ensuring successful management of PaaS product requests through the product lifecycle. This role drives coordination among multiple stakeholders, removes delivery impediments, manages risks, and maintains governance and momentum. It is pivotal in aligning platform delivery efforts with federal goals and supporting the VA’s mission. Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate the PaaS Delivery workstream and project managersOversee concurrent PaaS delivery activities with a platform-agnostic approachDirect resources, balance workload, and monitor team performance and moraleEstablish and maintain consistent delivery standards and reporting practicesManage PaaS product requests lifecycle data and documentationCoordinate schedules, milestones, risks, and stakeholder communicationsSupport process improvements and change managementRemove impediments and resolve delivery issuesMaintain effective relationships with VA customers, leadership, and delivery teamsFacilitate communication and understand business requirementsCoordinate with platform vendors and System Integrators (SIs) for application deliveryAlign implementation activities with governance, technical, and security requirementsEscalate systemic issues and facilitate stakeholder alignmentSupport delivery across multiple PaaS platforms including Salesforce, Microsoft, Pega, Appian, and MuleSoftCoordinate security approvals and deployment readinessMaintain knowledge of federal security authorization processes Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or progress toward completion preferredAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance8+ years in PaaS delivery, program management, or related fields5+ years experience in complex, cross-functional environments; federal or VA experience preferredProven leadership in delivery teams and cross-stakeholder coordinationStrong project and program management skills including risk and communication managementCustomer-facing federal government project management experience; technical PM experience preferredKnowledge of software development lifecycle Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
