P.M. Production Helper/Relief
About the role
Production helpers will ensure quality of product through dough creation, processing, and packaging areas. Employees will rotate throughout their shift for ergonomic reasons and be expected to work scheduled hours, including end-of-production (EOP) times as needed. Breaks and lunches will be allotted and adjusted based on hours of operation. Employees must follow all PPE requirements, including uniform, safety glasses, hearing protection, non-slip footwear, gloves, hairnet, and mouth/nose covering, and maintain a safe and clean work area.
Start times may vary with production requirements, such as ten-hour shifts and changeover days. Employees may also be scheduled for regular hours as needed, with start and end times adjusted based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform jobs in Layer Cake, Toast, and Puff Pastry areas, including processing, packaging, and dough preparation.
- Responsible for area housekeeping and other duties as outlined in work instructions.
- Relieve machine tenders for breaks. Note: There may be times when the relief person will work the normal production schedule beyond just relief hours.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work in an environment with moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels.

Pay
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
