About the role
LV Collective is an Austin, Texas-based real estate developer seeking an Owner's Construction Manager to lead construction projects that redefine modern living. The ideal candidate will thrive in the dynamic world of build-phase action, ensuring seamless coordination of costs, contracts, scheduling, and execution from design to completion.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact during construction, move-in, and operational transition.
- Manage and monitor project schedule, budget, and scope from permit phase through completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout construction.
- Lead and participate in project design review meetings and contractor coordination.
- Oversee general contractor negotiations, contract exhibits, and construction execution.
- Handle local utility contracts, relocations, and entitlements as required.
- Maintain construction standards, timelines, and documentation across all phases.
- Work closely with leasing and marketing to ensure seamless project transition.
- Travel to project sites in major U.S. cities as needed to support project objectives.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Planning, Building Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Sciences, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in architecture, building engineering, construction sciences, or real estate development.
- At least 3 years of project team management experience.
- Experience in construction techniques for commercial and residential construction.
- Proficiency in managing construction costs and schedules.
- Familiarity with architectural, construction, engineering, and other professional service contracts.
- Experience creating and implementing design and construction project-based budgets and forecasts.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Bluebeam PDF editing software, Microsoft Project, and Procore.
- Business Skills:
- Excellent written, graphic, and verbal presentation skills.
- Understanding of architectural design and construction documentation processes.
- Knowledge of municipal approval and permitting processes.
- Understanding of bidding and negotiation processes.
- Ability to develop and maintain workflow diagramming, scope management, and communications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to identify and communicate project issues in a timely manner.
- Proactive in directing team deliverables for project approval, production, and pricing milestones.

- Previous experience working directly for Owner/Developers.
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with green building practices, sustainable construction techniques, LEED and FitWel.
- Familiarity with additional project management software tools.
- Ability to speak Spanish.
