ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet competing deadlines.
- Must possess excellent customer relation and presentation skills.
- Must have basic PC experience in Windows environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Works effectively in a team selling environment.
- Stays current with local utility incentive programs and leverages associated rebates to improve project closure rate or project margins.
- Coordinates or engages in the project execution process as required.
- Sets and confirms project scope and bill of material with customers.
- Collects and communicates to operations the pertinent project information required to successfully complete projects.
- Attends and coordinates site reviews as required.
- Resolves deviations in scope with the client to preserve client experience and satisfaction.
- Assists with the collection of Accounts Receivable as needed.
- Determines recommended selling strategy and initial pricing.
- Presents the proposal, negotiates price and contract terms/conditions with customers.
Qualifications
- Requires a Bachelor's of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree in a technical or business related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Five years of experience in HVAC Sales or related technical field.
- Must have basic PC experience in Windows environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Must have ability to function independently and deliver results.
- Must have ability to travel within a defined region at least 50% of the time, overnight travel is not typical.
