Role Description Below is the JD and attached the PAS Facilities support engineer Scope of Work General Responsibilities Engages vendors at each site for physical installation of equipment including rack stack cabling power outofband management labeling and other services Engages vendors and coordinates maintenance and repair work on critical facilities equipment Depending on the site this can include Emergency power systems generator generator fuel quality and transport ATS and distribution switchgear UPS and batteriesCooling systems condenser or chilled water pumps and water systems CRAC units compressors piping refrigerant and heat rejection systems including diverse cooling sourcesFire detection and suppression systems coordination with fire departments as neededData center cleaningBlack building events testing critical facilities equipmentMonitoring and notification systems for the above Monitors and responds to alarms from critical facilities equipment 247 determines causes and impacts and responds appropriately to protect WAM IT systems Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required in order to resolve issues as quickly as possible Good knowledge on Windows OS Good knowledge on Microsoft office products Requesting and coordinating vendor support Provide initial assessment of urgency and business impact on all support calls Knowledge on remote tools Maintain ownership of users issue ensuring that they receive resolution within a reasonable timeframe Softwarenetwork troubleshooting Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required in order to resolve issues as quickly as possible Good knowledge on Windows OS Good knowledge on Microsoft office products Requesting and coordinating vendor support Provide initial assessment of urgency and business impact on all support calls Knowledge on remote tools Other Details Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
