Overnight Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

As an operations supervisor at our Wegmans Warehouse, you will coordinate tasks and execute daily warehouse operations. You will oversee a team of employees responsible for receiving vendor products and picking orders delivered to over 100 store locations daily.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tasks and execute plans to meet productivity standards
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and communicate productivity status to the team
• Hold employees accountable for performance through clear expectations of duties and results
• Ensure cold chain and food safety initiatives are followed to keep food fresh and deliver the highest quality product to stores
• Identify ways to improve operations, including reducing expenses, managing inventory, and increasing efficiency and productivity
• Meet established productivity goals by prioritizing and completing individual and departmental tasks efficiently

Requirements

• 2 or more years of previous experience leading a team
• Computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous distribution center or warehouse experience
