Overnight Veterinary Assistant

About the role

Mission / Overland Park Veterinary Emergency & Specialty, Mission (Kansas City Metro) is seeking an Overnight Veterinary Assistant. The position offers exposure to a diverse and stimulating caseload, access to advanced imaging and monitoring tools, and collaboration with board-certified specialists.

Responsibilities

• Work shifts between 5 pm - 8 am

• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment to perform advanced techniques

Requirements

• Must be a Veterinary Technician or experienced Veterinary Assistant
• Outstanding client service and excellent patient care skills
• Able to communicate effectively and remain composed during stressful situations

Schedule

The schedule varies as it is a 24hr/7day a week clinic (Always Open).

Pay

• Base wage
• $3.00/hr differential between 10 pm and 8 am
• $1.50/hr differential from midnight Saturday morning to midnight Sunday night
