About the Role
VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing Overnight care team full time. Responsibilities
- Collecting patient histories and performing physical exams
- Medication refills and pet parent communication
- Proficient in medical calculations
- Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
- Hands-free radiology with a focus on associate safety
- Working collaboratively with team members across all hospital services
- Providing compassionate care for all patients
Pay
$20.00 - $33.00 per hour, dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status.
