About the Role

VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our growing Overnight care team full time. Responsibilities

• Collecting patient histories and performing physical exams
• Medication refills and pet parent communication
• Proficient in medical calculations
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Hands-free radiology with a focus on associate safety
• Working collaboratively with team members across all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Pay

$20.00 - $33.00 per hour, dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status.
