Overnight Residential Supervisor-Weekdays

About the role

The Home for Little Wanderers, Southeast Campus, is seeking a Full-time Residential Supervisor to support youth who have experienced trauma and significant emotional and behavioral challenges. The role involves implementing a trauma-informed care model within a residential treatment program and a year-round private special education school.

Responsibilities

• Support youth in developing the skills needed to successfully transition home to families.
• Teach age-appropriate life skills, coping skills, and social skills through modeling, counseling, and other techniques.
• Participate in groups and activities designed to enhance youth growth and development.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for both staff and residents.
• Engage in both on-site and off-site recreational/educational activities.

Qualifications

• Experience working in human services, mental health, or youth development fields with supervisory experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
