Overnight Residential Coordinator - Senior Women's Shelter

About the role

The Senior Women’s Shelter (SWS) is a 24-hour shelter program serving 25 unaccompanied senior women and three unaccompanied Veteran Service modalities. The Residential Coordinator is directly responsible for managing the facility and providing necessary services to the residents.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the Residential Case Manager in delivering appropriate housing stability and support services for women experiencing chronic homelessness.
• Ensure client needs are met and maintain the safety and wellbeing of all 28 residents.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the facility.
• Provide life skill classes.
• Maintain client files and program data entry/maintenance.
• Develop expertise in mental health services and specialize in areas such as housing, employment, legal services, benefits, or others as needed.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in a related area or equivalent experience in human services.
• One-year direct human service experience.
• Good organizational and planning skills; works well as part of a team.
• Complete program credentialing process, including criminal and civil background checks within 30 days of hire.
• Willing to obtain first aid, automated external defibrillator, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications.

Pay

$19.29 - $20.00 per hour, starting pay based on experience + $1.00 more per hour for working overnight.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday 10pm-8am
