Overnight Recovery Specialist - Part Time

About the role

The Hart House is a long-term residential recovery home providing a 24-hour structured rehabilitative environment for pregnant and/or parenting women recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction. The program aims to provide women with the skills necessary to maintain their sobriety and the education, skills, and guidance to be effective, nurturing parents. Services include individual, family, and group therapy, parenting education, and more. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities
• Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30-minute client well-being checks
• Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor
• Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation, and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience working with substance use population is preferred
• Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred

Pay

$20.00 – $24.38 per hour (base hourly wage range)

Schedule

24 hours/week, overnight shift 11:30 pm – 8:00 am
