Recovery Specialist - Part Time

About the role

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency committed to treating and preventing substance use disorders and mental illness. We offer a variety of programs throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services, as well as support for survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of substance use disorders & mental health conditions
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, & boundaries
• Facilitate & document group discussions
• Complete client admission documentation
• Complete property searches, monitor clients while maintaining a therapeutic, safe, & calm unit
• Observe & account for patients at all times ensuring their safety (hourly checks w/ documentation)
• Escort patients to meals & fresh air breaks
• Attends required meetings & mandatory trainings

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED

• Pay range: $21 - $26 per hour w/weekend differential
