Recovery Specialist: Part-Time

Make a real difference in people's recovery journeys. As a Recovery Specialist with Chimes' Residential Recovery Program, you'll walk alongside residents as they rebuild daily living skills, work toward independence, and create healthier futures – all in a small, supportive team environment with a manageable caseload of 4‑5 residents.

Schedule

Part‑Time. Shifts are available every other weekend:

• Saturday‑Sunday, 7:00 AM‑3:00 PM
• Saturday‑Sunday, 3:00 PM‑11:00 PM
• Saturday‑Sunday, 11:00 PM‑7:00 AM

Pay

$18 per hour.

What You'll Do

• Guide residents through daily living skills – self‑care, budgeting, and medication education.
• Provide supportive, recovery‑oriented counseling grounded in best practices.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming home through light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Drive residents to appointments and activities using a program van.
• Administer medications in line with DPW standards.
• Respond calmly and confidently in crisis moments.
• Keep accurate documentation and billable service records.
• Advocate for residents and model healthy communication and conflict resolution.
• Partner with your program coordinator and team to support each resident's individual goals.

What You'll Bring

• Associate's degree with 1 year of human services experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communicator who thrives both independently and on a team.
• A compassionate, flexible, recovery‑oriented mindset.
• Comfort managing a small caseload (4‑5 residents).
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to transport residents.
