Responsibilities

• Mentors, coaches, and oversees the work of the team to meet safety, quality, and operational needs.
• Oversees and directs all daily production activities of the department by continuously performing department walk-throughs throughout the shift.
• Ensures achievement of safety, quality, and productivity goals for specific department/shift.
• Maintains staffing for the department and arranges coverage when needed.
• Monitors production activity and data to support development of solutions and CI processes as developed/directed by manager.
• Affords assistance with hiring and ensures quality training of new employees. Actively monitors trainee progress, provides feedback, and arranges additional training as needed.
• Completes Leadership Standard Work requirements.
• Maintains ERP, SSFD Operating system to show data of machines.
• Set the example for the shift to follow in areas such as attitude, sense of urgency, cooperation, and relationship with other employees, leads, supervisors, and managers.

Requirements

• Two year Associates degree or higher preferred, with business or industry experience.
• Three to five years of proven success leading a team in a manufacturing setting.
• Leadership experience with the ability to also work as a team.
• Solid working knowledge of production processes and related manufacturing.
• Bilingual - preferred.

Pay

• Based on Experience | Salaried Position Eligible for Biannual bonuses.

Schedule

• Overnight Shift: Hours are from 6p to 6a, with a 2,3,2 schedule alternating weekends.
• On occasion, it may be required to work outside of these hours to collaborate with management on the other shifts.
