Production Supervisor - Overnight Shift

Responsibilities

• Overall responsible for plant operations on assigned shift to ensure that all production, safety, quality and sanitation goals are met.
• Ensure the highest standards of quality, product safety and employee safety are maintained at all times in the facility.
• Attend production, safety and quality meetings as required and coordinate with support departments as needed to meet overall business goals.
• Partner with Human Resources on talent management, performance reviews, talent acquisition and employee timekeeping.
• Maintain the facility in an audit ready state for customers or regulatory agencies.
• Train and coach production line employees as needed and responsible for shift labor assignments including work area assignments, coordinating time off, employee breaks, and overtime scheduling as directed.
• Carry out all disciplinary actions with respect to attendance and other violations.
• Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and trial runs.
• Responsible for quality of product produced. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to produce product within specifications.
• Place any product on hold if it is outside of specifications.
• Carry out all disciplinary actions with respect to attendance and other violations.
• Consult with Human Resources when necessary.
• Must report all food safety and quality to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of food manufacturing experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of employees and management.
• Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change.
• Strong project management skills.
• Professional presentation skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in Food Processing Industry.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Pay

Annual Salary: $85,000 to $98,000
