OVERNIGHT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate daily operations of receiving, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens
2. Ensure adherence to production schedules and quality control standards
3. Communicate performance expectations and operational goals clearly to team members
4. Maintain and monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching and feedback
5. Monitor key metrics such as PPOH, quality, and labor efficiency, and report performance data
6. Identify and support continuous improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma tools
7. Promote and enforce a culture of safety, cleanliness, and accountability
8. Aid in hiring, training, evaluations, and, when necessary, disciplinary actions
9. Submit shift reports, KPIs, attendance, and safety incidents accurately and on time
10. Collaborate with Maintenance and Management teams to resolve production issues quickly
11. Lead by example and foster a team-oriented work environment
12. Help resolve employee issues, customer escalations, and equipment downtime alongside supervisors
13. Ensure plant compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and company policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in management, supervisory or team lead role (any industry)
• Experience in high-volume operations with time-sensitive output in manufacturing, logistics, laundry, or warehouse settings
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with WMS or production tracking systems a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and resolve conflicts in a fast-paced setting
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with safety protocols and key performance metrics (KPIs)
• Flexible availability (including weekends and holidays)
