About the role
The Association for Individual Development (AID) seeks an Overnight Mental Health Professional who embodies our mission to empower individuals with diverse challenges to lead dignified and purposeful lives. This position operates Sunday-Wednesday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Responsibilities
- Implement and document the client's IM+CAN treatment plan goals and objectives daily.
- Maintain client rights and dignity while ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Stay current with and adhere to all applicable program and agency regulations.
- Work scheduled hours and be flexible to meet client and program needs, including cross-training and overnight services.
- Respond to all incoming calls, assessing whether services can be provided via telehealth or in person, and provide in-person services as necessary.
- Communicate with and coordinate with Case Managers and Managers to coordinate client services across programs.
- Collaborate with emergency services when necessary, such as local fire and police departments.
- Answer emergency phone calls and overnight phones as assigned, monitoring and granting building access when necessary.
- Complete and sign MRO documentation (case notes) every 48 hours in Cx360.
- Provide group services to clients at each building as assigned by Manager or Director.
- Document time spent and complete daily logs at the end of each shift.
- Acquire and maintain required trainings and certifications as assigned by Manager.
- Conduct client-centered consultations with program managers and other staff as needed.
- Provide effective services to all assigned clients on a regular basis to ensure their needs are met in line with their IM+CANS plans.
- Maintain professionalism and good boundaries when working with clients, coworkers, and outside agencies.
- Attend monthly clinical supervisions and team meetings as required.
- Follow the direction of Managers and Case Managers regarding appropriate client interactions and interventions.
- Avoid non-compliance with all rules, regulations, and recommendations per agency, state, and federal guidelines.
- Review and follow updated policies and procedures.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations.
- Complete necessary paperwork correctly (incident reports, petitions, encounters).
