Mental Health Worker (overnight)

About the role

Seeking full time, overnight direct care staff person for Crisis Stabilization Unit located in Taunton, MA.

Responsibilities

• Complete client admissions
• Maintain daily records in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and therapists for patients’ therapy and treatment
• Provide assistance to client filling out applications and or forms that may be needed as part of aftercare planning
• Adequately implement verbal and physical de-escalation techniques
• Support the daily functions of the Community Crisis Stabilization Unit and telephone triage for the overall Emergency Service Program
• Aid in the care of clients; meals, laundry, light cleaning
• Provide transportation as needed utilizing the CCBC vehicle
• Maintain compliance with all applicable practice standards and guidelines
• Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field
• A valid driver's license in the state of residence and submit a copy of satisfactory record of driving from the state of residence of registry of motor vehicles, as determined by the department vice president
• Complete MA and ADP Criminal Offense Record Information (CORI) process
• Computer literacy as related to the requirements of the position
