About the role
Seeking full time, overnight direct care staff person for Crisis Stabilization Unit located in Taunton, MA.
Responsibilities
- Complete client admissions
- Maintain daily records in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses and therapists for patients’ therapy and treatment
- Provide assistance to client filling out applications and or forms that may be needed as part of aftercare planning
- Adequately implement verbal and physical de-escalation techniques
- Support the daily functions of the Community Crisis Stabilization Unit and telephone triage for the overall Emergency Service Program
- Aid in the care of clients; meals, laundry, light cleaning
- Provide transportation as needed utilizing the CCBC vehicle
- Maintain compliance with all applicable practice standards and guidelines
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field
- A valid driver's license in the state of residence and submit a copy of satisfactory record of driving from the state of residence of registry of motor vehicles, as determined by the department vice president
- Complete MA and ADP Criminal Offense Record Information (CORI) process
- Computer literacy as related to the requirements of the position
