Mental Health Practitioner - Overnight Shift

Responsibilities

• Assess the strengths, and needs of clients upon admission.
• Assist the clients with independent living skills including shopping, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Monitor and document physical and emotional status.
• Makes sure medication compliance is monitored and reports any side effects.
• Facilitates residential program activities, classes and groups.
• Accurately completes treatment plans, shift notes, admission and discharge paperwork, and financial forms.
• Responds appropriately to all crises and utilizes verbal and non-verbal techniques with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field.
• One year (2000 hours) experience working with adults with a severe mental illness and/or chemical dependency.
• Must qualify as a Mental Health Practitioner in the state of MN.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Pay & Benefits

• Pay Range: $25.11 - $30.13 per hour.
• Compensation is based on years of experience.
