Overnight - Level 3 Vehicle Operator

About the role

HireArt is partnering with an autonomous ride-hailing company to find a Level 3 Vehicle Operator. This role involves ensuring safety, maintaining vehicle readiness, completing tests, and representing the company's brand.

Responsibilities

• Drive 4-8 hours a day prioritizing safety
• Conduct basic software operation tasks
• Support missions through various roles inside and outside the vehicle
• Aid with documentation and metrics
• Provide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams
• Support vehicle maintenance and logistics
• Conduct daily basic vehicle preventative maintenance checks, services, and repairs
• Offer logistical support for vehicle movement and equipment storage
• Ensure vehicle, equipment, and workplace readiness and cleanliness
• Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Compliance with Controlled Substance and Alcohol Testing Program
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent driving history and no criminal background
• Proactive mindset and resourcefulness

Pay & Schedule

Compensation: $29.00 per hour
Overnight shifts add 7.5% on weekdays and 10% on weekends.

This is a full-time, overnight shift, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. The position is open to candidates local to the San Francisco Bay Area.
