Level 3 Vehicle Operator
About the role
HireArt is partnering with an innovative, autonomous ride-hailing company to find a Level 3 Vehicle Operator. This role involves ensuring safety, maintaining vehicle readiness, completing software and hardware tests, and representing the company's brand to the public. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams including computer vision, infrastructure, and sound design, among others.
Responsibilities
- Drive 4-8 hours a day with a focus on safety
- Conduct basic software operation tasks
- Support missions through diverse roles both inside and outside the vehicle
- Aid in documentation and metrics
- Provide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams
- Support vehicle maintenance and logistics
- Perform daily basic vehicle preventative maintenance checks, services, and repairs
- Offer logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment
- Ensure the readiness and cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and the workplace
- Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness
Requirements
- Basic vehicle knowledge for performing checks and driving for up to 6 hours per day
- Basic technology skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive mindset and resourcefulness
- Excellent driving record and no criminal history
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience (optional)
- Military experience (optional)

Pay & Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:45am-4:15pm - $27.00 USD per hour
- Night Shift: 3:45pm-12:15am - $27.00 USD per hour + 7% weekend bonus (7% total)
Commitment
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) contract position staffed via HireArt. The role is open to candidates local to the Miami, FL area.
