Position Details
- Schedule: Awake Overnight Shift | 11:00 PM - 9:00 AM
- Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time
- Positions Available: Ocean County, New Jersey
- Starting Pay: $20.70 per hour
- Earning Potential: Up to $24.70 per hour through applicable shift differentials and overtime opportunities
- Weekend Availability Required
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide continuous supervision and support during overnight hours to ensure resident safety and well-being
- Complete required hourly status checks and timekeeping procedures
- Respond appropriately to resident needs, emergencies, and unexpected situations
- Absorb and prepare individuals for a successful start to the day
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe residential environment, including completion of housekeeping and household responsibilities
- Monitor the condition of the residence and report maintenance, safety, or equipment concerns promptly
- Assist individuals with morning routines, personal care, and preparation for daily activities
- Administer medications in accordance with agency procedures and individualized care plans
- Implement and follow individualized behavioral, dietary, medical, mobility, and support plans
- Complete accurate documentation including communication logs, medication records, incident reports, and daily notes
- Support individuals in achieving personal goals and document progress as required
- Promote dignity, independence, choice, privacy, and respect for all individuals receiving services

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid New Jersey driver's license in good standing with no more than five (5) points
- Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in emergency situations
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting or assisting with up to 50 pounds, mobility support, and household responsibilities
- Strong communication, reliability, and problem-solving skills
