Overview
Hourly Range: $21.00-$23.00, DOE
Full Time, Onsite position
Shift: 11:00 pm - 9:00 am
$500 sign-on bonus after successfully completing 90 days and meeting onboarding expectations
Responsibilities
- Provide safe verbal de-escalation or physical intervention techniques with upset teen girls as they arise
- Serve as a positive role model and enforce a supportive atmosphere
- Communicate important observations and updates to the Shift Supervisor and Residential Managers
- With an empathetic heart, encourage teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications
Qualifications
- Age: 21+ years of age or older
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations preferred
- Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training
