About the role
As an Overnight Casino Floor Technician, you will be responsible for routine maintenance and cleaning of casino floors and related areas.
Responsibilities
- Routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing, burnishing, stripping and waxing on hard surface floors and stairs.
- Vacuuming, bonneting and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.
- Secure the work area and post proper safety notices for other users of the space prior to beginning work.
- Simple maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, bulb changing.
- Maintain and clean the floor care equipment and ensure that appropriate chemicals are being used on proper areas.
- Stand, lift, and remain physically active during the duration of your shift.
- Lift/move up to 40 pounds and operate heavy machinery.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 1½ years experience in floor care is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of how to strip, wax and burnish floors with minimal to no assistance is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively perform job functions, such as a high speed buffer, low speed scrubbers, extractor, burnisher, auto scrubber is strongly preferred.

11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
