Overnight Auditor (Full-Time)

Overview

The Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star is a 16‑story luxury boutique hotel featuring 300 guest rooms and suites, 24,000 sq ft of meeting space, restaurants, retail, and entertainment venues. It is connected to The Ford Center and the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, and is located 20 minutes north of downtown Dallas.

This team member will ensure the appropriate checking in and checking out of guests in a courteous and professional manner while maintaining four‑star/four‑diamond standards and accurately completing the night audit process. The role also involves handling guest issues and, when working the overnight shift, serving as Manager on Duty as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight operations of the hotel and serve as Manager on Duty during the overnight shift.
• Timely and accurate preparation of the Daily Report (Daily Business Summary – DBS).
• Expeditious and diplomatic resolution of guest problems.
• Maintain full knowledge of all emergency procedures.
• Accurately prepare VIP, complimentary, house‑use rooms, and out‑of‑order lists.
• Ensure proper registration of guests and adherence to credit procedures.
• Distribute all nightly reports.
• Efficient processing of guaranteed no‑show billings.
• Maintain current backup reports.
• Handle Express Check‑Outs ensuring completion.
• Ensure adherence to all systems and control procedures.
• Complete the third‑shift Night Audit checklist and related responsibilities.
• Balance daily postings and revenue.

Qualifications

• High propensity for customer service.
• Previous cash‑handling experience (required).
• Previous night audit experience (strongly preferred).
• Full‑service hotel/resort front‑office experience (required).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, both in person and by telephone.
• Ability to work cohesively with co‑workers across departments.
• Strong decision‑making, prioritization, organization, and follow‑up abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure, handling many arrivals, departures, and guest issues.
• Calm and welcoming demeanor in stressful situations.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts.
• Computer proficiency with Synergy, Nucleus, Epitome, Vision, GoConcierge, and Microsoft Office.
