Overnight Alarm Monitor

About the Role

We are looking for a self-motivated Overnight Alarm Monitor to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will monitor live and recorded camera footage to identify and respond to potential security risks. Your keen eye for detail and strong decision-making skills will be crucial as you assess suspicious activities, follow client-specific protocols, and take swift action by contacting authorities when necessary. This position requires the ability to remain highly focused and alert while sitting for extended periods, and you must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays to support our 24/7 security operation.

Responsibilities

• Review camera footage and assess potential security risk events
• Understand client-specific requirements and protocols
• Deter suspicious or unwanted activity from client properties
• Contact appropriate authorities with urgency (Police, Fire, Guard, etc.)
• Answer inbound calls while utilizing a multi-line phone system
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Handle special projects such as audits, process documentation, and research
• Monitor camera alarms for assigned sites/stations and act based on observed events and severity
• Multitask using different computer programs
• Work under pressure while observing and handling live criminal events
• Use Microsoft Office Word and Excel effectively
• Use Google Maps effectively
• Maintain confidentiality of legally protected information
• Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Requirements

• Authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• Must remain alert during working hours
• Ability to sit for long periods of time

• Timely Decision Making – Able to make quick decisions under tight deadlines and pressure
• Decision Quality – Most decisions are correct and accurate using analysis, wisdom, judgment, and experience
• Strong typing skills, 40 wpm minimum
• Strong attention to detail skills

Pay

$20.00 / hour

Schedule

May include weekdays, weekends, and varying shifts. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
