Outsourcing Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Outsourcing Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee procurement outsourcing activities with a strong emphasis on sourcing, supplier management, and cost-effective execution. The ideal candidate will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement strategy with business priorities, maintain compliance, and strengthen supplier performance across the organization. This position also requires a hands-on leader who can negotiate favorable terms, monitor market conditions, and help drive operational efficiency. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing and supplier management Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals for cost savings Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and ensure timely delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while negotiating favorable terms Monitor market trends and conduct supplier assessments for competitive pricing Ensure compliance with internal policies and legal regulations throughout procurement Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred Proven experience in managing procurement operations, vendor negotiation, and contract management Strong leadership and organizational skills for managing procurement teams and cross-functional collaboration Excellent negotiation and communication skills for building supplier and team relationships Strong analytical skills for managing budgets and identifying cost savings Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to efficiency and compliance in procurement operations Willingness to travel as necessary (approximately 10%) Benefits Competitive base salary and performance-related incentives Health and wellbeing programmes including medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement and pension plans Life assurance and disability coverage Employee assistance programmes and wellbeing resources Learning and development opportunities through training and career pathways Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
