Outside Sales Representative Northern California (San Francisco-Based)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team, based out of San Francisco and covering the broader Northern California territory. The successful candidate will establish contact with and identify new opportunities, follow up with potential leads, and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

• Contact regular and prospective customers through cold calling and other outreach methods.
• Provide estimates or quotes for prices, delivery dates, and other relevant details.
• Recommend products to customers based on their needs, interests, and business type.
• Answer questions regarding pricing, product availability, and other customer concerns.
• Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Travel throughout the Northern California territory to meet with new or existing clients.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in sales or a related field.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong time management and ability to meet sales goals.
• Excellent presentation, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of product and ability to build client relationships.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary or meat industry background.
• Knowledge of CRM programs.
• Chef or cooking experience.

Pay

• 1st year: $60,000 base salary (no commission).
• 2nd year and beyond: $38,500 base salary + commission (4% of gross profit).
