Outside Sales Representative - Danbury, CT
About the role
Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking Outside Sales Representatives to join our team! This position will work within Danbury, CT and the surrounding areas. Buffalo Biodiesel is seeking Outside Sales Representatives to build relationships and canvass entities with deep fryers to contract for the purchase of their used cooking oils. This role is technically a purchasing/business development role. There is no customer service or order taking in this position. No expectations to work holidays or long weekends.
Responsibilities
- Canvass entities with deep fryers to contract for the purchase of their used cooking oils
- Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers
- Travel to Canada as required
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree required
- Minimum 5 years of successful cold calling experience required
- 2 years door-to-door experience
- Driver’s license with clean motor vehicle report required
- Ability to travel to Canada required
- Hard working
- Reliable
- Drug free
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual in Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Cantonese, or Hindi/Bengali
Schedule
- Mandatory working hours are 1st stop by 9am, last stop after 4pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
- On Thursdays required to canvass bars with the 1st stop by 2pm and last stop after 10pm
- Monday – Friday, 50+ hours a week
- Canvass locations that are a drive time of no more than 1.5 hours from your designated area or depot location

Pay
- Base pay of $70,000
- Bonus pay of 10¢ per gallon collected if quota is hit
- Representatives should make 1x to 2x their base in bonuses for hitting metrics
- A motivated person can easily earn over six figures
