Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities

  • Drive new business and foster new customers through cold calling, networking, and executing sales strategies.
  • Maintain positive customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction on existing accounts.
  • Create and adhere to a weekly customer visitation schedule to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Distribute promotional flyers to customers.
  • Undergo training on all product lines to develop and maintain product knowledge.
  • Participate in fall protection courses and certifications as needed.
  • Manage sales goals and provide regular reports on progress and client contact.
  • Complete administrative duties such as sales plans, reports, expense reports, call logs, new sales goals, product availability, order monitoring, and financial reports.
  • Participate in team initiatives, including a weekly showroom walkthrough, training sessions, and trade shows.
  • Handle emergency deliveries for customers as directed.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner in public settings.
  • Maintain a neat appearance and protect company trade secrets.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Support a collaborative culture and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and/or department management.

Skills/Requirements

  • At least 3 or more years of sales experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, self-starting ability, sense of urgency, personability, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite.
  • Ability to negotiate skillfully in various situations.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a flexible, team-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Finance Management is preferred.

Compensation

Starting at $91,000 per year based on experience. Includes a competitive salary and annual incentive programs.
