Position Responsibilities

  • Develops new business relationships with potential & existing customers and meet KPIs regarding prospecting & closing deals.
  • Understands customer business models and product needs.
  • Crafts solutions for customers that meet and exceed their requirements.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Works to expand sales with existing clients.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on all products lines.
  • Provides reports on progress in territory and opportunities for growth.
  • Responds to RFQ's as necessary.
  • Works closely with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Pursues VMI opportunities.
  • Notifies customers of signature brand products.
  • Works with core supplier target account programs by scheduling sales calls and presentations.
  • Maintains established margin objectives.
  • Encourages customer website usage.
  • Travel when necessary.

Required Experience

  • CNC Machining experience, or Industrial distribution or supply chain experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Outside Sales experience is required.
  • Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and growing sales territory.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Self-directed and possesses a high level of productivity and personal organization.
  • Plans and organizes tasks & work responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives while remaining calm & professional under pressure.
  • Proficient use of a Windows computer, Microsoft Office & Teams.
