Responsibilities
- Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and make strategic recommendations to customers.
- Perform 360 inspections (attics, crawlspaces, etc.) to solve problems and build trusted relationships.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities and conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity.
- Serve as an empathetic problem solver, recommending tailored pest solutions using in-depth training.
- Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads (supported by a robust advertising budget).
- Schedule and conduct in-home sales appointments to explain Orkin’s products and services.
- Inspect interiors and exteriors of customers’ homes, identify issues, and make recommendations.
- Address customer questions, explain processes, and set expectations.
- Use a provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized (training included).

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- No prior experience required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
- Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
Work Environment
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:
- Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc. (climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling).
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator when required.
- Work in various weather conditions.
