Responsibilities
- Find and complete sales of our full line of building materials and installed services with builders and subcontractors both residentially and commercially.
- Manage jobs and relationships once a project is sold.
- Keep up-to-date on customer product use and trends.
- Visit job sites as needed.
- Maintain schedules and resolve issues as necessary.
- Present and sell all product lines, with a focus on millwork products.
- Establish and grow relationships with customers in the market.
- Develop presentations and provide expert advice on product features and benefits.
- Do take-offs and prepare estimates for millwork products.
- Ensure accurate and timely ordering and shipping of products.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years previous experience selling millwork products, including interior trim, interior doors, and interior hardware.
- Ability to cold call and build relationships with customers.
- Ability to read blueprints and perform take-offs.
- Ability to visit job sites to measure doors and trim.
- Demonstrated ability to increase sales and improve profitability.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of customer service.
- Decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license.
