Responsibilities
- Find and complete sales of our full line of building materials and installed services with builders and subcontractors both residentially and commercially.
- Manage sales jobs and customer relationships once a job is sold.
- Keep up-to-date information on customers' product use and trends.
- Visit job sites as needed to measure doors and trim.
- Put out fires related to job management.
- Present and sell all product lines with a focus on millwork products.
- Establish and grow relationships with customers in the market.
- Develop presentations and provide expert advice on product features and benefits.
- Prepare estimates and ensure accurate and timely ordering and shipping of products.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years previous knowledge and experience selling Millwork products including interior trim, interior doors, and interior hardware.
- Ability to cold call future customers and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Ability to read blueprints and do take-offs.
- Ability to go to job sites to measure doors and trim.
- Demonstrated ability to increase sales and improve profitability.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong sense of customer service.
- Decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license.
