Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage prospective clients using diverse sources such as industry ads, trade shows, and digital platforms.
- Balance prospecting for longer term prospects with short term focus on winning incremental business in the current year.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to broaden our footprint with existing clients while maintaining exceptional service levels.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients and RLG Healthcare, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery throughout the sales and production cycles.
- Craft and deliver compelling presentations and conduct site tours to showcase our capabilities and innovations.
- Manage the RFP process, coordinate with internal teams to formulate competitive quotes and contracts, and oversee the implementation of agreed-upon terms.
- Provide insightful reports on market trends, customer feedback, and industry challenges to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain meticulous records of sales activities and client interactions within Salesforce CRM.
- Organize and participate in customer training and quarterly business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and adjust strategies as needed.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in new business development and account management (small and large accounts) with a focus on pharmaceutical, healthcare, nutraceutical, and food industries.
- Experience with longer-selling cycles in a B2B environment is also highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, plus minimum 3-5 years of outside B2B sales experience in packaging, printing, or direct marketing.
- Exceptional interpersonal, persuasion, and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and driven by an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proficient in competitive market analysis and adept at navigating industry trends and dynamics.
- Advanced computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
- Required to travel within the assigned territory; valid driver’s license necessary.
