About the role

The Role: As an Outside Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our growth and success by providing roofing and exterior improvement solutions to homeowners. You will conduct in-home inspections, assess customer needs, and deliver compelling presentations to help homeowners make informed decisions. Our ideal candidate is an ambitious, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a customer-first mindset. You must be comfortable working in residential environments, climbing ladders, and inspecting attic spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow up on company-provided leads, complete bids, and close sales.
  • Conduct multiple in-home roofing and exterior inspections daily.
  • Identify customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and guide them through the consultation process.
  • Deliver dynamic, company-approved presentations to educate and inform homeowners.
  • Maintain a professional and organized appearance, including vehicle and sales materials.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and trade shows.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork (contracts, financing, etc.) is properly completed.
  • Adhere to company sales processes and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Required: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record & background check.
  • Comfortable working on roofs, climbing ladders, and accessing attics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and build trust.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Able to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Able to use CRM software, Microsoft Office, and iOS tools.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Paid Training Program

  • Comprehensive paid training program; 2-week classroom training with additional field training.
  • Paid training class session (expenses covered).
  • Must be comfortable with 2 weeks paid training - potentially in another city.

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Flexible weekly schedule with evening and weekend appointments as needed.
  • Regularly engaged in outside sales, requiring travel to customer locations.

Compensation

  • Estimate of Total Expected Annual Earnings: $140-250k.
  • Initial training pay.
  • Paid training class session (expenses covered).
  • Post training uncapped commission structure (1st year earnings target $140-250k).
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
