About the role
The Role: As an Outside Sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our growth and success by providing roofing and exterior improvement solutions to homeowners. You will conduct in-home inspections, assess customer needs, and deliver compelling presentations to help homeowners make informed decisions. Our ideal candidate is an ambitious, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a customer-first mindset. You must be comfortable working in residential environments, climbing ladders, and inspecting attic spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on company-provided leads, complete bids, and close sales.
- Conduct multiple in-home roofing and exterior inspections daily.
- Identify customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and guide them through the consultation process.
- Deliver dynamic, company-approved presentations to educate and inform homeowners.
- Maintain a professional and organized appearance, including vehicle and sales materials.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and trade shows.
- Ensure all necessary paperwork (contracts, financing, etc.) is properly completed.
- Adhere to company sales processes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Required: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record & background check.
- Comfortable working on roofs, climbing ladders, and accessing attics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and build trust.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Able to present complex information in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Able to use CRM software, Microsoft Office, and iOS tools.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Paid Training Program
- Comprehensive paid training program; 2-week classroom training with additional field training.
- Paid training class session (expenses covered).
- Must be comfortable with 2 weeks paid training - potentially in another city.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Flexible weekly schedule with evening and weekend appointments as needed.
- Regularly engaged in outside sales, requiring travel to customer locations.
Compensation
- Estimate of Total Expected Annual Earnings: $140-250k.
- Initial training pay.
- Paid training class session (expenses covered).
- Post training uncapped commission structure (1st year earnings target $140-250k).
- Performance-based bonus opportunities.
