Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals. Your responsibilities will include creating and submitting sales reports, building rapport with new and existing customers within your territory, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, and a strong desire to close deals.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
• Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
• Maintain and exceed designated sales targets
• Create and implement an effective sales strategy
• Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) program
• Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required
• Previous experience in outside sales
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A positive attitude and ability to be persistent

About Us

John Craig, Robert Craig and Wesley Craig started J W Welding Supplies & Tools in 1978 offering service of quality products at reasonable rates out of the back of a pick-up truck. The motto of the business was “Service only a family owned and operated business can supply”, which is still supported today by the company surviving family members. Hard work coupled with fierce determination lead to many strong relationships with local businesses and the farming/ranching community’s that helped permanently root J W Welding Supplies & Tools in Fallon Nevada. Wesley Craig went off on a different venture and Robert Craig stayed as a silent partner. In 1979 on the corner of Taylor Place and the Reno Highway we opened our first store, having only 2 employees. In 1993 J W Welding Supply opened a new facility at our current location and now has 14 employees, a pumping facility, much more land and products to serve our community and surrounding areas. In 1997 we expanded and put in a satellite store in Sparks Nevada to help us better serve the Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and surrounding areas.
