Outside Sales

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
• Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
• Meet or exceed designated sales targets
• Create and implement an effective sales strategy
• Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) program
• Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales

Qualifications

• A high school diploma/GED is required, a bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Previous experience in outside sales is required
• Excellent negotiation and customer service skills are essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary
• A positive attitude and ability to be persistent are key
• The best candidates should have a background in the remodeling industry, be able to work in a team environment, be well-versed in customer relations and friendly, be neat in appearance, have basic computer knowledge and be willing to upgrade skills, be organized, and can manage detail work effectively with minimum or no supervision
