Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between customers and the organization.
• Build and maintain a robust network of customer contacts, including weekly visits (≈ 50% of time on site at the customer plant or our facilities).
• Prepare periodic sales reports showing volume, potential sales, and expansion opportunities.
• Gather data for departmental forecasts and business planning.
• Conduct pre-call planning, post-call follow-up, and prospect new business.
• Provide timely quotes, negotiate pricing & delivery, and issue price change notices.
• Plan, control, and manage sales activities to maximize volume and potential sales from key customers.
• Manage inventory levels and schedule shipments, collaborating with warehouses and logistics partners.
• Monitor sales results, implement countermeasures, and update weekly sales reports (by end of business day each Thursday).
• Coordinate with engineering, program management, quality, manufacturing, and purchasing to develop product definitions responsive to customer needs.
• Manage mature products through phase-out, working with customers to achieve zero obsolete inventory at end of service life.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years in sales within MRO or industrial sectors and in customer-facing roles.

Travel

Travel up to 25% domestic and international.
