Salary Range
Position eligible for Account Manager Commission Program with varying base salary and total compensation based on assigned accounts and GP$.
Responsibilities
- Actively promote DSG products and services to contractors and industrial accounts
- Manage and maintain strong customer relationships and accounts
- Identify, prioritize, and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and territory growth
- Develop new customer opportunities and accounts
- Introduce, promote, and demonstrate new products and marketing programs
- Process customer orders, correct orders, respond to inquiries, and suggest improvements for the order process
Requirements
- A high School diploma or equivalent; postsecondary degree preferred
- A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Two or more years of college or technical school experience in plumbing and/or HVAC products, or three to five years of field experience
- Strong sales skills and a proven track record of successful territory development
- Three to five years of sales experience
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- A strong attention to detail and ability to follow-through/follow-up
- A general understanding of plumbing/HVAC software and programs
- Familiarity with DSG Web Commerce and ability to instruct customers on its uses
- Excellent time management skills
Qualifications
