Outside Sales Account Manager - Plumbing & HVAC

Salary Range

Position eligible for Account Manager Commission Program, with base salary range of $37,500-$133,125 and variable total compensation based on GP$ performance.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote DSG products and services to contractors and industrial accounts
• Manage and maintain strong customer relationships and accounts
• Identify, prioritize, and implement initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and territory growth
• Develop new customer opportunities and accounts
• Introduce, promote, and demonstrate new products and marketing programs
• Process customer orders, correct orders, respond to inquiries, and suggest improvements for the order process

Requirements

• A high School diploma or equivalent; postsecondary degree preferred
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Two or more years of college or technical school experience in Plumbing & HVAC products, or 3-5 years of field experience
• Strong sales skills and proven territory development experience
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
• A general understanding of Plumbing & HVAC software and the ability to instruct customers on DSG Web Commerce

Qualifications

• Familiarity with DSG Web Commerce and ability to instruct customers on its uses
• Excellent time management skills
